Tonight

We're going out to eat.  We might stop for my meds at Publix.  I'll probably jog when I get back and call my grandma.  I might wait to shower until I do the Brazilian Butt Lift after my parents go to bed.  That means I have to change twice.  :p

Website Edit

I edited the tags on my YouTube video.  I added more tags.

Post Edit

In the last IMDb post, I added under the two links that I couldn't find the video anywhere but on YouTube.

Ballet

I wonder if I did it as long as I should have done it as a kid that I will be good at it, or a little more.  That would be age 3-16, which is 13 years.  I did it 11 years + gymnastics 8 years + baton 2 years.

Post Edit

I thought I edited 2 things but see I added the part that is labelled "Edit" at the bottom, and this is of the last post.

IMDb: Charlie and the Chocolate Factory: Re: Do you like this movie?

http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0367594/board/nest/181281535?d=195297438&p=1#195297438

I was looking at a list of movies of yours and it shows The Sound of Music is your favorite movie from the 1960s. Then, you like Breakfast at Tiffany's, Mary Poppins, My Fair Lady, and then the rest. I was thinking I liked My Fair Lady the best and that it reminded me of ballet and that Audrey Hepburn did ballet.

I didn't see this as sold anywhere, so this is the only place to see it I think.

I also have on my site a video of Julie Andrews singing My Fair Lady and I like her as much.

As to Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, when I read the book not extremely a long time ago, I found it put it all together for me. It just is a good thing to know. I imagined a lot of things reading that, too, about the way things were written. I did also like the illustration.

The 70s version set the groundwork. The 2005 version fed off it. It was amazing when it came out.

I agree the 70s one is quite dreamy in a good way. I find the 2005 one to be just as captivating in that sense. I can see if you think that's mainly the feature of the 2nd one and that it wasn't as classic as the 1st, though. I think other family movies seem like classics. Charlie and the Chocolate Factory 2005 is like You've Got Mail and Titanic. They were popular, but the only way people felt comfortable was denying the extreme truth that they liked it so much and that they didn't know how to react to something like that. I wasn't a big movies person my whole life completely, and I didn't know when Pirates came out. I was surprised to see that people actually went out and said Johnny Depp was sexy. I also was surprised that Lindsay Lohan did drugs and I found out who she was after that, the girl from Parent Trap, which I found an interesting surprise in that she got famous from a family film. She was still young and could have gone in more mature films rather than take drugs and in that way try to look cool.

What I mean by classic is kinda that it's older and more traditional and also more real than set apart as a movie, like Meg Ryan always looking like she's right there but not behind a screen, at least in You've Got Mail. I went out and watched the most recent movie of her at one point recently. People tend to think that actors being more personal makes them less of an actor partly because we're not used to it and partly taking advantage of their good nature.

So, I like both, but both I stop after the girls are gone. I don't know what I'll do when I watch them again. I am impressed by Johnny Depp's performance in the 2nd one. I really like the English girl in the 1st one because she reminds me of me in a good way. The others are cute in a good way, as well, though. So?

Once, on TV I even saw George Bush watching a musical, a different version, of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory.

I think you're right, the 1st one is better in that a child made the movie good, Veruca Salt. Gene Wild was good. Johnny Depp had a totally different character, and this role seemed like a very big deal. It's hard to pick between the two.

Edit: I like all the actors. It's just that Veruca Salt in the 1st one reminds me of what I like to be like just not bad.  She had the most qualities that are specific to this generation of kids. The others had good qualities like this, too, of course.  I think the other girl was very good.  In the 2nd one, I also highly value these actors.  It can't get any better than this.

I added my singing album on YouTube to my website.  It might be hard to dig out later.  http://www.youtube.com/ChristinaBarrett1986

All people want to do is ...

... attack me by saying they were psyched by their parents to be bad.

They want to say my being good is worthless because they feel with how overwhelming their parents were they didn't have a chance.  Somehow, they connect it to the fact that anyone with good parents is evil.

In the end, I think it's racism and jealousy.

IMDb: Johnny Depp: Re: Rating?

I don't know how I feel about this movie..
Aw.

I am a HUGE fan of the original series
That's good!

from what I've heard about it so far I have to admit I'm a little worried..
It'll be okay!

I think its not taken itself seriously enough and sounds like 1 one liner after another.. Hope this isn't the case! Some Comedy isn't a bad thing but if its a "Charlie and the Chocolate Factory" Dark Shadows, not a good thing at all!! Tim and Johnny both being fans of the original series do put me at ease, but every thing I've heard so far doesn't sound like anything I pictured it would be..

We Shall See!!!

Bring on a Poster and a Trailer Already!!!
Don't worry about things like that.

This movie is pretty exciting! I can't wait to see Chloë Moretz, a 15-year-old girl!

IMDb: Johnny Depp: Re: Johnny Depp’s Oscar history

To whoever wrote this:

2008
It’s the last time he was at the Oscars. For Sweeney Todd. And I worry now that he and Vanessa won’t be back there together ever again.
Aw. If he gets nominated again, Vanessa will come!

2004
It would be a decade (JLo doesn’t know what this means) before Johnny came back to the Oscars, this time as a nominee for Pirates of the Caribbean, and with the mother of his children Vanessa Paradis and his own mother Betty Sue. I remember being really excited to see him there. I remember thinking, Johnny Depp goes to award shows now...?
Aw! His mom came, too!

2005
Johnny received another nomination for Finding Neverland. He wore blue and glasses and there was no bloat on his face and I really miss him.
You don't have to mention anything about his face being bloated at other times.

1994
This was his first Oscars. Gilbert Grape had just opened three months prior. He and Winona Ryder had broken up the summer before. He would soon fall in love with Kate Moss. God, remember how beautiful? Like in a way that makes you clutch your sides? (He may have been a little high here too.) Photos of Johnny from these Oscars are few and expensive. But I have something better. There’s video. Click here and look at that face. Please. It’s too much.
That's cute, "makes you clutch your sides!" I hope he wasn't as you said "high."

Can we just revisit the fact that JLo will be making her TENTH appearance at the Oscars in 15 years this weekend? Click here if you missed yesterday’s article. Is she the only one who says yes...repeatedly?

While JLo is going for a decade’s worth of Academy Award showings without a nomination, Johnny Depp has only attended 4 times in 18 years. And, these days, only when he’s actually up for something.
Well? He's bound to get another nomination!

I had to include the video from 1994 that Lainey linked too. Depp is absolutely gorgeous here.

Change of Plans

I guess I'm putting the rating next to the movies I've seen.

What I'm Doing

I'm putting the dishes away.  I also started the last drying cycle for the towels.  I'll come back and post online.  Then, I'll make soup for my dad and I at lunch.  It's vegetable soup!  p:

I want to call my grandma tonight.  We usually talk every night and read our Bible verses from a booklet.

Re: FINALLY - Edgar Wright to direct Johnny Depp in The Night Stalker

PG-13?

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kolchak:_The_Night_Stalker#Origins

This sounds interesting.

I watch shows about vampires and witches, so this is very cool to me.

I am glad Johnny Depp is doing something interesting like this. I wish there could be more movies like Charlie and the Chocolate Factory.

The Night Stalker was one of two films that Depp and Dembrowski set at the studio. The other was a drama about the Midnight Ride made by Paul Revere to warn Colonial militia of the impending British invasion that made him a seminal figure in the American Revolutionary War. Jon Brown and Infinitum Nihil’s Margaret French-Isaac will be executive producers.
...I guess they're doing Paul Revere?

Oh, I see now. It's listed at his IMDb profile already. This is going to be pretty exciting. I guess we'll have a new director other than if Tim Burton were to do it. I wonder if it will be reminiscent of Sleepy Hollow. Sleepy Hollow? I thought there was supposed to be a pumpkin head and romance.

I guess Tim Burton, Johnny Depp, and Helena Bonham Carter are just letting it slide as to what their next project might be. They have other big things going for them. I also wonder if they ran out of ideas or the right project, like something big like Alice in Wonderland or the musical or Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. Johnny Depp was so good in Charlie and the Chocolate Factory that it's like the best thing in the world! The rest of the movie was actually pretty entertaining and almost spot-on even.

Well, it's interesting both Tim Burton and Johnny Depp are doing "scary" movies. They're not full-out horror shows, though.

So, I'm very excited to see this...

People Born in 1984

http://www.imdb.com/name/nm1675996/

They tend to have a bubbly look.  I think this trumps the look of Cindy Brady, the actress being born in mid-1961, who I have tried to model my look after.  I'm kinda crossing over since seeing Kate Bush, born mid-1958, made me lose it and want to be like her more.  I thought nothing would equal.

So, I remember this boy everyone liked in high school.  He was born mid-late 1984.  He kinda looked more I guess you might say English.  This was in the New Orleans area.  He was from New Orleans and had to move to forget about his boyfriend dying.  I don't know if he was already gay or not.  But, probably.

You know, I think the only reason I get popular in any way is because my mom made me so thin and I did gymnastics.  My arms must have been almost as big as my legs which were thinner.  I wish I did ballet now, though, or gymnastics team rather than once or twice a week.  :(

Here is another person born late 1984 who I thought was born mid-1984 until now ,:o http://christinax.yolasite.com/good-looking-people.php

You're right! Adele got 4 Grammys, and Taylor Swift got 3. Charlotte Church and Jackie Evancho also made it big. There is no reason Johnny can't end up with an Oscar in his abode. http://www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/abode

I'm surprised right at Pirates of the Caribbean 1 he didn't get one. That's probably why people went crazy. We all love Johnny Depp and hope for the best for him. We all want to at least meet him one day and leave an imprint on his life so he'll talk to us.

Since Pirates wasn't new after the 1st one, I think he should have gotten at least 2 Oscars: Pirates 1 and Willy Wonka. He already is the most famous person, might as well have an Oscar like he deserves.

I woke up between 1:30 A.M. and 2:00 A.M.
